The EP, created in 2004/2005. This was my first attempt at mixing and mashing up some beats. I was introduced to the whole wonder of music making when I started to mess around with MTV’S Music Generator on a Playstation 2. It had samples by Carl Cox and Krafty Kuts. I Knocked together this six track EP. It acted as my stimulus to purchase professional software to make my future albums. It wasn’t the best but did hold my interest for its duration.
At the time I was making the EP, I was introduced to a Canadian producer going by the name of Knifehandchop. His album Rockstopper was the inspiration behind this EP and my later releases. If you haven’t heard his stuff, then check it out. See him live a few times and he is one of the best dance floor crashers you’d ever experience.
His first album and my EP were the two things that I was listening to in my car, affectionately named Sarah, a VW Polo with a banging set of 6 by 9’s cranking it up on the way to Crudwell. The other side of Cirencester along the A419.
